The Registered Nurse Manager Hospice will report to the Director of Home Health and oversee a team of dedicated, hardworking Registered Nurses, Patient Care Coordinators, and Clinical Nurse Educators. You will be working closely with unit managers and committees on developing solutions to quality and safety issues as they relate to Home Health and Hospice. As the leader of the department, you will coordinate care with other nurse leaders on developing a seamless continuum of care for patients that are sent over to Home Health and Hospice.
The Home Health Manager Hospice Palliative Care should possess a strong work ethic along with a firm understanding of California regulatory and compliance guidelines. As the department lead, you will act as liaison between physician, nurse, and patient/family members when issues arise. In addition to clinical oversight, the Registered Nurse Manager Hospice will help to deliver effective education to staff members, ensuring that each team member has the skills and knowledge to be an exceptional healthcare provider. This role is all encompassing and requires a nurse leader with effective communication skills who understands the current home health and hospice market.
