The Nurse Director of Case Management will be expected to oversee the overall coordination and direction of the activities performed within the department. The Nurse Director of Case Management will also have direct oversight of the system-wide Healthy Outcomes initiatives. The Nurse Director of Case Management will also have administrative oversight of the operations performed throughout the utilization review, case management, and discharge planning services throughout the health system.
The Nurse Director of Case Management will act as a resource within the department and will work to positively impact the quality of patient care provided throughout the health system. The ideal candidate for this role will be a graduate of an accredited program of nursing and will have proven leadership within case management or utilization review settings. The Nurse Director of Case Management will be expected to have knowledge of and understand CMS regulatory requirements and will have experience managing a multidisciplinary department.
