Renowned Pacific Northwest not-for-profit healthcare system offers a vital leadership opportunity at one of their essential medical centers along the Oregon Coast, seeking an experienced and skillful Clinical Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, trusted with orchestrating the safe and efficient delivery of perioperative care through high quality nursing practices.

The Operating Room Clinical Nursing Manager will oversee an OR performing procedures for orthopedic and general surgeries. To maintain their quality standards, the Surgical Services Clinical RN Manager administers guidelines and training programs, preparing and equipping nursing personnel and clinical staff to deliver impeccable patient care.

Under the general guidance of an astute Perioperative Services Director of Nursing, the OR Clinical Nursing Manager will lead a team of 35 FTEs, committed and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurses and Nurse Specialists who are accountable for day-to-day clinical operations and quality outcomes.

The Clinical Nurse Manager of Surgery is essential to the progressive healthcare at this critical access medical facility. Modest in size with less than 50 beds, the hospital continues a nearly 70-year legacy of providing personalized, advanced medical services to the community. In the midst of a major expansion project, the new hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

Featuring highly regarded Orthopedic, Cardiovascular, and Women’s Health programs among its array of services, the hospital is part of a vibrant coastal community. Often the destination for weekend getaways from the larger Oregon cities, the area features an abundance of outdoor activities, cultural destinations, and restaurants. Watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean as you end your days by the bonfire at the beach.
