Inpatient Pharmacy Coordinator PharmD

Reporting to the Pharmacy Hospital Director, the Inpatient Pharmacy Coordinator PharmD will utilize evidence-based practices to improve pharmacy department performance. Responsibilities will include management of systematic drug utilization evaluation (DUE) programs, adverse drug reaction surveillance programs, and quality improvement initiatives. As a leader in the department, you will be expected to run and drive the agenda for P&T and Antibiotic Stewardship meetings, round in the ICU and collect and analyze medication errors and adverse drug events.

The Inpatient Pharmacy Coordinator PharmD will also work in collaboration with the Director to develop cost saving proposals. You will also help to create a Pharmacy Residency program. This will be a major part of the job. As a key leader, the Inpatient Pharmacy Coordinator PharmD will establish an educational development program used for hiring, training, and evaluating pharmacy staff members.
